First on our list is the Huawei Y8p. Released in mid of 2020, the Y8p is a pretty capable device. Upfront we have a large 6.3-inch, OLED panel, which has an aspect ratio of 20:9. This slightly taller display is ideal for content consuming and watching videos. This panel is very bright as well, with about 418 ppi, density this display gets pretty bright. Its powered by an Octa core Kirin 710F processor. It has dedicated performance cores and a Mali G51 GPU to assist for graphic intense content. You have options to go for the 4GB RAM or 6GB. Overall, at about $295, we think that this is very capable device and justifies the price tag.

Next on our list is the Huawei Y9a. If you are into smart phone gaming, and admire a large, bright and vivid display then the Y9a is a perfect pick. A 6.63 inch, IPS LCD panel with 397 ppi density covers the front of the device. Though this is not a very bright display, but it delivers a respectable image quality. By far the most appealing part of this smart phone is the power house. It has an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset on board, with dedicated performance core clocked at 2.0 GHz. The gaming demands are fulfilled by the Mali-G52 GPU. It’s a very powerful and performing chipset and is perfect for demanding titles like PUB-G and various other. So is the case here. With a 4200 mAH the Y9a has a small battery pack we must say. With a huge IPS LCD display, and a small battery pack it can’t last a single on a full charge. However, it supports a fast charging up to 40 watts. At about $240, we think that the Y9a is capable device and justifies the price tag.

Huawei P Smart 2020

The Huawei P smart, is yet another capable smart phone that has a very appealing price tag. At just $193, it has a very power full Octa-core Kirin 710 processor which is perfect for gaming and consuming media content. Upfront we have a 6.21-inch IPS LCD panel, which has a very amazing pixel density of about 415 ppi. With a base storage option of 128 GB and 4 GB RAM this device is surprisingly appealing. On back we have a dual camera setup. A 13 mega pixel lens serves as the main shooter and assisted by a 2 mega pixel depth sensor. Overall, the camera is slightly above average and can struggle in low light. Again, it has a very small battery capacity of just 3400 mAH. There is no fast charging supported and still has an old school micro-USB 2.0 port on board. If someone is looking for getting a decent smart phone in a very tight budget, then the P smart is a great option.
